My summer jeans.

American Eagle Low Waist Hipster. My favourite pair of jeans last summer. It was perfectly stonewashed and faded. It fit around my everything just perfectly. Until Cuba happened. And Montreal happened.

For me, traveling = food, lots of food. Usually all the walking and sweating compensates, but there's not much compensating lying on the beach. That's when I learned my metabolism had indeed slowed down.

Now, I don't have a bad body image, and will always be a foodie. But it just hurt my ego - just a little - when my favourite jeans didn't fit last term. Or this term. Until ... TODAY!!!

Oh, the perks of stress and school. How I will miss thee. I can now fit - quite snugly back into them. Now if only I had the cash to go shopping...

OMG this is me to a T! I so want to wear my skinnys but they are too skinny at the moment...so sad. I'm waiting on that annual cold I get that helps me loose my winter fluff!
Congrats on getting there already!

Allie: Thanks! I haven't been able to find a pair of skinnys that fit me just right. But I'll be happy with this for now. :)

Yes- exam stress always made me lose weight. Usually, quite a significant amount too. Maybe that's the one part of exams I do in fact miss...a little.

Alexandra: We need to devise a plan on what to do when those jeans get too tight. :)

So far, I tried:

-Martinis instead of dinner. Failed miserably. Martinis have calories plus the hangover makes me want to crave greasy food the following morning, which defeats the purpose.

-gym. Once. Didn't enjoy it. No hot men there either,so there's no motivation for me to keep going.

-climbing gym. Way more fun particularly since many men go shirt-less there. Unfortunately, this gym happens to be across the street from a pub, where I normally go for curries and many beers after climbing. So, not conducive to weight-loss.

I have heard about this food in moderation thing, and about how male M&M's do not constitute a balanced lunch, and how vanilla icecream with Bailey's poured over it does not make a good bedtime snack...but I chose not to pay attention to this sort of fear-mongering.

Alexandra: I like the climbing gym. You gotta come down for weekends when I start working. Shirtless men, can't complain. ;) We'll go some tofu afterwards in Toronto.

Actually what I noticed was how much I eat and when I eat. IE. Eating proper portions and filling up on fruits when I'm still hungry or if I'm eating later.
